Getting started with your Deimos TV is very simple. This guide will help you to learn more about your new TV.
Once you unpack the TV from the box you can rez the TV in world.
The Deimos TV does not require any extra software to be installed or any other plug-ins to be installed on your computer.
• Right click the TV and select 'TV MENU' from the Viewer context menu.
• You will see the TV's dialog menu pop up. You can use the dialog and the icons on screen to control the TV.
• The HUDs for color change, resize and stand removal are in the same box/folder as the TV.
• You are all set and ready to use the menu to access all apps and features.
If you need to use Parcel Mode for any reason please read the line below.
• You can add IPTV playlists to the IPTV menu.
• Use the example playlist URL found on the IPTV manage playlists page to access a list of free public channels to get started with IPTV.
• To watch IPTV channels together with friends you can share your IPTV playlist URL so your friend can load it and access it from the IPTV menu.
• Once you add the IPTV playlist the IPTV menu will light up with all of the channels in your playlist.
• Please note each user will need to load the playlist URL to see the playlist. They only need to load it once.
• Please note if you clear your viewer's history or cache you will need to reload your IPTV playlist URLs. This also refreshes the channels list.
• Tell your friend the number of the channel you are on so they can tune into the same channel.
• IPTV channels are live and have live real time sync.
• The IPTV menu also supports Premium IPTV playlists which are available from any Premium IPTV service.
• Click the Generate Room button to create a room. Enter the room and paste a URL to play or start adding playlists.
• To invite your friends click the Share button located at the top right of the screen (when in the room).
• Copy the Room Invite Code and send it to your friend. Ask your friend to paste the join code and click the Join button.
• TIP! It works best when the Room owner controls the player and the other users just watch.
• All users in your room will be watching together in sync.
• Supported Video Formats:
• Right click the TV and select 'TV MENU' from the Viewer context menu.
• Premium and Ultimate TV owners will see a button named OnDemand in the TV's dialog menu. From there you can upload videos; your channel will be private.
• First you will need to register an account. You can do that by clicking on the Register button from the dialog menu.
• You can share the username and password of your channel with a trusted friend so they can login and play videos together in sync.
• The router can be used to set video URLs to the parcel.
• Be sure to set the TV to "Parcel Mode" using the dialog menu.
• This will allow you to see the parcel media play on the TV screen.
The Deimos TV also includes some additional features with a touch dialog.
The Dialog menu can be accessed by right clicking the TV screen and selecting TV Menu from the context menu in your Viewer.
Once the dialog menu is open any of the additional features below will show on screen and can be accessed by anyone with access to the TV.
PLEASE NOTE: To exit any of the menus listed below simply right click the TV screen then choose 'TV Menu' followed by the 'Home' button.
Choose an app from the list of icons on screen.
The Adult button will open the Adult 18+ Videos menu.
Access the Go-Live Broadcast features (The Go-Live Addon is required to login to this menu).
The Home button will open the TV's main on screen icon menu.
The Browser button will open the TV's built-in web browser.
The Sleep button will deactivate the TV screen and put the TV to sleep. (The owner must right click the TV screen and select Touch to open the dialog menu, followed by clicking the Home button to wake up the TV.)
To set a video URL to play on the parcel you will need to set the TV to Parcel Media Mode. You can do that by right clicking the TV screen and selecting TOUCH from the right click menu in your Viewer. Then click 'Parcel' from the dialog menu. The TV will then be set to Parcel Mode. You can then click on the DEIMOS SMART ROUTER to access the Parcel Media Control Menu.
(Please Note: If you are on a group owned land parcel you will need to deed the DEIMOS SMART ROUTER to the same group that owns the land.)
(CHANGE THE TEXTURE/COLOR OF THE TV)
Rez then attach (or wear) the COLOR SELECTOR HUD object to set the texture color of your Deimos TV. You can find the COLOR SELECTOR HUD in the same folder as the TV (most models).
Rez then attach (or wear) the COLOR & RESIZE HUD object to resize your Deimos TV. You can find the COLOR & RESIZE HUD in the same folder as the TV.
Be sure to stand close to the TV when resizing. The resizer HUD has a very short range in order to only resize the TV closest to you.
Add-Ons available for your Deimos TV. Each add-on has its own login page.
To access the Add-ons Menu go to the Home menu and click on the Add-ons button.
Use the add-on account maker object included in the Add-on package to make an account to login.
Be sure to login to the page that matches the Add-On account you have.
